Everybody is pulling the vehicle which has been stuck at the hill road

On the front screen of the vehicle: Hadomi (which means “love” in Tetum)

Nation-building

Today, Timor-Leste is right in the midst of nation-building.

There is vitality and aspiration. It is very cheerful.
“Come on, go for it!”-I can feel the overflowing energy of the people of Timor-Leste.

The people of Timor-Leste have powerful eyes and ahead of their focus, there is a picture of an irreplaceable mother country which they are heading for.

The journey towards that goal is rough and faraway.
 It is indeed rocky road.
Of course, the Timorese people are fully aware of such challenge.

The people in Timor-Leste are taking a step forward and half-step backwards,
repeating standstill and sometimes they are shouting at one another, but surely they are moving forward by helping each other.
And then, there is always ineffable beautiful smile.

 Viva! People of Timor-Leste!
