Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (known as GGP) aims to support economic and social development in less developed countries based on the concept of “Human Security”, and provide funds for relatively small scale projects that benefit people at grassroots level.
Eligible recipients for GGP are NGOs working in less developed countries (including local NGOs and international NGOs. However, Japanese NGOs who are eligible for Grant Assistance for Japanese NGOs are excluded), nonprofit organizations such as local public organizations, educational institutions and medical institutions.
