Embassy of Japan in Timor-Leste held Grant Contract Signing Ceremonies of Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) with local organizations below.

Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (known as GGP) aims to support economic and social development in less developed countries based on the concept of “Human Security”, and provide funds for relatively small scale projects that benefit people at grassroots level.
Eligible recipients for GGP are NGOs working in less developed countries (including local NGOs and international NGOs. However, Japanese NGOs who are eligible for Grant Assistance for Japanese NGOs are excluded), nonprofit organizations such as local public organizations, educational institutions and medical institutions.
- Women Love Family Foundation (FHF) “The Project for Construction of Primary School Building in Ainaro Village, Ainaro Administrative Post, Ainaro Municipality” signed on 4th of February, 2020.
- Integrated Guiding Institute (IMI) “The project for Construction of Central Primary School Building in Manusae Village, Hatulia Administrative Post, Ermera Municipality” signed on 4th of February, 2020.
- Youth Vocational Training Center (STVJ) Manatuto “The Project for Construction of Primary School Building in Orlalan Village, Laclubar Administrative Post, Manatuto Municipality” signed on 10th of March, 2020.
- Foundation of Love and Friendship (FUNDAMOR) “The Project for Construction of Primary School Building in Daudere Village, Lautem Administrative Post, Lautem Municipality” signed on 10th of March, 2020.
- Missionaries Claretian Timor-Leste “The Project for Construction of Classrooms and Dormitory at ESTV Claret in Maudemo Village, Tilomar Administrative Post, Covalima Municipality” signed on 10th of March, 2020.
- Rural Youth Development Association (AFDR) “The Project for Construction of Primary School Building in Lissadila Village, Maubara Administrative Post, Liquiça Municipality” signed on 10th of March, 2020.
- Carmelite Sister “The Project for Construction of Women’s dormitory in Costa Village, Pante-Macassar Administrative Post, Oecusse-Ambeno Special Administrative Region” signed on 11th of March, 2020.
- PRADET(Psychosocial Recovery and Development in East Timor) “The Project for Construction of Safe Home for Women and Children at Caicoli Village, Vera Cruz Administrative Post, Dili Municipality” signed on 11th of March, 2020.
- Action for Change Foundation (ACF) “The Project for Rehabilitation of Lospalos Public Health Center in Fuiloro Village, Lospalos Administrative Post, Lautem Municipality” signed on 11th of March, 2020.
